Getting started
Ember is a creator economy platform where fans support creators through tips, gifts, messages, subscriptions, exclusive content, bookable services, and merch. Creators build community and earn Embers—our in-app currency. Merchants offer bookable services and products.
Click "Create account" on the homepage or register with your email. You can then sign in, browse creators and merchants, and start supporting with Embers. To buy Embers, book services, or purchase merch, you'll need to complete identity verification.
Go to Dashboard → Verify (or the Verify link in your profile). Upload a valid ID, a selfie, and a photo of you holding your ID. Review may take up to a few business days. Verification is required for buying Embers, booking services, and purchasing merch.
Embers
Embers are the in-app currency that powers support on Ember. Red Embers are purchased with real money and used to tip, gift, unlock content, subscribe, and book services. Blue Embers are earned by creators when fans support them and can be used for specific in-app features.
Go to Dashboard → Credits (or Buy Embers in the header). Choose a pack or subscribe for auto top-up. Complete checkout with a supported payment method—your Red Embers will be added to your balance. Packs may include bonus Embers.
Embers are generally non-refundable once spent. Refunds may apply when required by law (e.g. failed services, cancelled bookings) or as described in our Terms of Service. Unspent Embers in your balance may be refundable under certain conditions.
Supporting creators
Tips go directly to the creator. Choose an amount in Embers, add an optional message, and send. The creator receives the Embers (minus platform fee) and can withdraw when eligible.
Gifts are Ember packages you send to creators—e.g. a virtual "Coffee" or "Super fan" pack. Pick a gift type, pay in Embers, and the creator receives it. Gifts can be public on posts or sent privately.
No. You can tip, gift, and react to public posts without subscribing. Subscribing unlocks exclusive content, DMs with the creator, and the ability to book services. Some features require an active subscription.
Some posts require Embers to unlock. If you're a subscriber, you may get access automatically. Otherwise, tap "Unlock" and pay the listed Embers to view the full content. Unlocks are permanent for your account.
Stories with an unlock price can be viewed after you pay the Embers. Tap "Unlock" and confirm. Once unlocked, you can view the story anytime during its availability.
Funding goals let creators raise Embers for something specific—e.g. new equipment or a project. You contribute Embers toward the goal. When the target is reached, the creator completes the goal to release funds.
Bookings & services
You must be subscribed to the creator. Visit their profile → Services, pick a service and an available time slot, enter the delivery address, and confirm. You pay in Embers at booking. Show the booking QR to the creator to confirm completion.
Go to Services or Merchants, find the merchant and service you want. Pick a branch, choose an available slot, select personnel if needed, and complete booking. Payment is with the merchant at visit. You'll receive a QR code for the merchant to scan.
Yes. Creator bookings: go to Dashboard → My bookings and cancel. Merchant bookings: same. Embers are refunded when you cancel according to the booking policy.
Shop & messaging
Browse products from creators and merchants. Add items to cart and checkout with Embers. Physical products are shipped to your address. Digital products unlock in-app.
Yes, if you're a subscriber. DMs may be free or cost Embers per message, depending on the creator's settings. You can send text, voice clips, and video clips.
Yes. In a conversation, switch to the voice or video composer and record a clip. Voice and video messages may cost Embers set by the creator.
Safety & verification
Identity verification is required for buying Embers, booking services, and purchasing merch. It helps prevent fraud and ensures compliance with regulations.
We use secure payment processors and do not store full card details. Payment data is handled in compliance with industry standards. See our Privacy Policy for more.
For booking or purchase issues, contact support with your order or booking details. We'll investigate and may issue refunds when appropriate. For content concerns, report via the platform or contact us.
