Getting started
Ember is a creator economy platform where fans support creators through tips, gifts, messages, subscriptions, exclusive content, bookable services, and merch. Creators build community and earn Embers—our in-app currency. Merchants offer bookable services and products.
Click "Create account" on the homepage or register with your email. You can then sign in, browse creators and merchants, and start supporting with Embers. To buy Embers, book services, or purchase merch, you'll need to complete identity verification.
Go to Dashboard → Verify (or the Verify link in your profile). Upload a valid ID, a selfie, and a photo of you holding your ID. Review may take up to a few business days. Verification is required for buying Embers, booking services, and purchasing merch.
Embers
Embers are the in-app currency that powers support on Ember. Red Embers are purchased with real money and used to tip, gift, unlock content, subscribe, and book services. Blue Embers are earned by creators when fans support them and can be used for specific in-app features.
Go to Dashboard → Credits (or Buy Embers in the header). Choose a pack or subscribe for auto top-up. Complete checkout with a supported payment method—your Red Embers will be added to your balance. Packs may include bonus Embers.
Embers are generally non-refundable once spent. Refunds may apply when required by law (e.g. failed services, cancelled bookings) or as described in our Terms of Service. Unspent Embers in your balance may be refundable under certain conditions.
Merchant basics
Creators focus on content, tips, subscriptions, and services. Merchants are businesses that offer bookable services (e.g. salons, clinics), products in the shop, multiple branches, and staff management. You can be both a creator and a merchant.
Apply via Dashboard → Become a merchant. Submit your business details. Once approved, you can add branches, services, personnel, and products.
Branches & services
Go to Dashboard → Merchant → Branches. Add each location with name, address, and contact. Each branch can have its own availability and slots.
Dashboard → Merchant → Services. Create services with name, price (in PHP or Embers), duration, and which branches offer them. Attach slots for availability.
Dashboard → Merchant → Personnel. Add staff members and assign them to services. Fans can choose specific personnel when booking.
Slots define when a service is available. Add slots per branch and service. Fans book available slots. You can add single slots or use bulk add for recurring availability.
Bookings & products
Dashboard → Merchant → Bookings. See all bookings by status (Pending, Completed, Cancelled, No-show). Update status when the service is done. Fans show a QR code for you to scan or confirm manually.
Dashboard → Merchant → Merch → Products. Add products with name, price in PHP or Embers, images, stock, and optional variants. Products appear in the Shop.
Dashboard → Merchant → Merch → Orders. View orders, update status, and handle shipping. Chat with buyers if order chat is enabled.
Merchant analytics & billing
Dashboard → Merchant → Analytics. See bookings, revenue, top services, and performance over time.
Merchants pay a subscription for the platform. Go to Dashboard → Merchant → Billing to manage your plan. A per-booking fee may apply; check Admin or your billing page for details.
Safety & verification
Identity verification is required for buying Embers, booking services, and purchasing merch. It helps prevent fraud and ensures compliance with regulations.
We use secure payment processors and do not store full card details. Payment data is handled in compliance with industry standards. See our Privacy Policy for more.
For booking or purchase issues, contact support with your order or booking details. We'll investigate and may issue refunds when appropriate. For content concerns, report via the platform or contact us.
